Loki, the wolfdog, and his owner Kelly Lund are now famous on the Internet for their stunning Instagram photos.
Meet Loki, a 2-year-old wolfdog from Denver.
Colorado is a beautiful place to live, especially for a wolfdog, like Loki. The air is so clean and the views are simply incredible!
Loki is a hybrid of a Siberian husky, Malamute and Arctic Wolf. Hi is known as a ‘low-content Wolfdog’ which means he possesses more dog genes than wolf, but has the stature and size of a wolf that would be found in the wild.
Loki was adopted by Outdoor Recreation Coordinator, Kelly Lund in December 2012.
Lund believe that dogs like Loki need tons of socialization and exercise. They can be destructive if they’re constantly kept indoors.
That’s why Loki and his dad love going on epic hiking adventures together. The pair are inseparable and regularly explore the great outdoors, without putting Loki on a leash.
These two have explored a vast amount of the natural areas such as waterfalls and mountains. Lund captures some of the most beautiful and stunning moments of their adventures.
“I believe dogs aren’t meant to live out their lives in a backyard or inside a house. I hate to see that,” he wrote on boredpanda.com. “I hope we are inspiring people to get out, explore our world, and make memories with their pups.”
