Jeff Longo was just a regular guy until the day he made a surprising discovery. Jeff found a newborn flying squirrel on the sidewalk.
He wasn’t even sure what kind of animal this tiny creature was initially.
“I found her half dead, lying on the sidewalk in the Florida sun. I posted pictures on Reddit that day and had a bunch of know it alls tell me she would die, because I am not an animal rehabber,” Longo described that day.
He took it home with him and named the baby squirrel Biscuits.
Chances of survival without her mother were slim, but Jeff was determined to save Biscuit’s life.
This is a story of their friendship!
For 2 months, he took Biscuits with him to work every day and hand fed her with a bottle.
Biscuits grew up to be a beautiful squirrel. Just look how cute she is!
