The Verreaux’s Sifaka is a primate belonging to the lemur family that is only found in Madagascar. The Sifaka is found in a variety of habitats from the deciduous rainforests, to dry spiny forests. What makes them unique compared to other lemurs is the way they move on the ground from one territory to another. There movement creates a dancing spectacle that is a joy to watch.
